An opportunity exists for a dynamic, caring, and dedicated educator in the role of French Immersion Teacher Specific teaching duties will be determined based on the background and strengths of the successful applicant. This educator will value: a strong focus on continual learning, improvement and growth, Middle School and High School Redesign philosophy/practice, and will also be a positive team player who is collaborative. A student-centered paradigm, knowledge of the Collaborative Response Model, and a passion for excellence, are traits this educator will need to demonstrate. A commitment to extra-curricular activities/coaching would be an asset. The successful candidate must be aligned with the values and vision of CHHS and Medicine Hat Public School Division.

Bilingual - ability to function, communicate and teach fully in both English and French
High School and/or Middle School experience would be an asset
Instruction in French Language Arts would be an asset
Knowledge of outcomes-informed assessment
Passion for the enhancement of the French language and culture within and outside the school community
Crescent Heights High School has a student population of approximately 1300 students in Grades 7-12 and is located in the North Central area of the city. The CHHS learning community benefits from offering French Immersion and Middle School programming among many other student opportunities.
