Account Supervisor, Paid Search and Social At MediaCom Canada

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship and Satisfaction
  • Maintain positive client relationships, expectations and communications with the assistance of internal resources
  • Proactively identify and solve client risks before they escalate to issues
  • Develop relationships with clients and the industry
Strategic and Marketing Leadership:
  • Work with clients to uncover business needs and objectives, build appropriate strategies and identify/implement services to help achieve client goals
  • Demonstrate thought leadership for clients and the industry
  • Educate clients on the importance of search in the overall marketing mix
  • Understand clients' business and generate new ideas to enhance client performance
  • Provide effective analysis to support marketing recommendations
  • Ensure the integration of search into the overall communications strategy
  • Build trust, credibility and client referrals, branding Catalyst as the authority in the industry
Leadership and Talent Management:
  • Manage a team search marketing professionals with expertise in paid search
  • Foster teamwork and a constructive work environment
  • Maintain a high level of employee commitment
  • Provide team leadership that rewards creativity
  • Build an existing level of search engine marketing expertise and develop a reputation for innovation and efficiency (internally)
  • Oversee the cross-functional campaign development with internal SEO/Paid Social/Content teams as well as sister media agencies
P&L Accountability and Business Development:
  • Identify and grow revenue opportunities with current clientele
  • Maintain or improve account profitability
  • Work with Account Directors to develop new client sales proposals
  • Scope and develop new business with companies looking to meet their marketing goals using search marketing
Skills & Experience Required:
  • 3+ years of related industry experience, preferably agency
  • 2+ years of demonstrated strong client relationship responsibility
  • Proven account management, analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated track record of client relationship development and service
  • Ability to interact in a professional manner and deal with clients face-to-face
  • Proven ability to lead successful campaigns
  • Superior verbal and written skills with outstanding presentation ability
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple accounts
  • Experience using search advertising platforms (Google AdWords, Bing Ads)
  • Experience with analytical tools (Google Analytics, Web Trends, Omniture)
  • Experience with Bid Management tools (Marin & Searchlight)
  • High level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
