Junior User Experience Designer At MedeAnalytics

Role Summary:

The Junior User Experience Designer will participate in planning, design and development activities to create the user experience for web-based applications and mobile devices. User Interface/Experience design activities include establishing interactive conventions, assisting in gathering user requirements, mocking-up user experiences, participating in trade-off discussions with development teams and subject matter experts, analyzing tool sets, creating screen mock-ups and helping customers to imagine new kinds of interactive techniques and technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Develop prototypes, wireframes, information architecture, and other design documents
  • Define and create specifications for innovative user interfaces (web/mobile/tablet)
  • Effectively document and communicate design concepts and specifications
  • Conduct User Tests based on prototypes and wireframes
  • Stay up to date on current trends in interaction design such as Responsive Web Design
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Essential Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Degree-level qualification, or equivalent, in a design related field is required
  • Demonstrated understanding of user-centered design methodology
  • Experience creating process flows, wireframes, and mockups to effectively conceptualize and present detailed interaction behaviors
  • Proficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator and working knowledge of Balsamiq, Axure, Sketch or OmniGraffle, at various design stages
  • Knowledge of web development processes and mobile technologies
  • Experience with Angular, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS/JS, Highcharts a plus
  • Ability to work in a cross functional team environment in an agile development process
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Experience collaborating and working closely with UX team members
