Madewell Digital Marketing Coordinator - Email At Madewell

Location: Long Island City, New York

Job Description

Overview: This Digital Marketing Coordinator will drive online and in-store revenue for Madewell by ideating and executing successful digital marketing strategies and campaigns for the email channel. They will drive the business by optimizing email campaign performance, sharing key findings with senior business partners, executing regular A/B tests to increase customer engagement, and ensuring all marketing emails are deployed properly. In addition to email, the associate will work to identify and execute on opportunities to increase product conversion. Highly analytical and KPI driven, the associate is always looking to improve digital performance while aligning with Madewell strategic goals.

The right candidate will have expertise in digital marketing, preferably in eCommerce, as well as a passion for the Madewell brand.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Partner closely with Brand Marketing, Merchandising, Site Operations, Customer Insights and Creative teams on email strategy to ensure the most engaging and seamless customer experience.
  • Share Email campaign insights and strategy in weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings with key senior business partners across merchandising, creative, planning and brand marketing.
  • Oversee the entire Email process; coding, QA-ing and approvingall email campaigns to ensure all customer-facing communication "content, copy and links" are correct.
  • Develop and execute A/B tests to increase engagement, conversion, and revenue.
  • Understand the functionality and application of website analytics tools and use this knowledge to answer business questions and report findings to decision makers.
  • Create and distribute email engagement reports on a weekly, monthly, and ad hoc basis.


Qualifications:

  • 1+ year(s) of relatedexperience in digital marketing or site analytics
  • Thorough understanding of online shopping and interest in fashion/retail markets
  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience or interest in learning Photoshop/Sketch
  • Experience with web analytics and email systems a plus (Omniture, Google Analytics, Oracle/Responsys, SalesForce Commerce Cloud)
  • Very strong communication skills and works well in a team environment
  • Meticulous organization skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with curiosity
  • Ability toprioritize multiple objectives within a constantly changing environment
  • Aptitude to think strategically but act tactically at all times
  • High-energy positive person who wants to make a difference in a growing organization
  • Excellent presentation, project management, and communication skills
