Job Title: Catalog Artist (CAD Artist)
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide needed support to the art department utilizing Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and additional graphic tools to execute graphic ideas.
Create trend boards and line sheets for presentations.
Prepare line sheets for merchandising purposes
Locate art through internal servers
Create mock-up comp if necessary—to include changing body type, color, and adjusting art into body
Log new comp into internal PLM software (Webtech)
Support the art department and other internal entities in the management, maintenance, and
development of the Asset Management and PLM system.
* Develop new shirt templates for new body shirts - photographing new shirt body and developing
new shirt templates according to the new body, take ecoms images, art changes base on licensor comments.
Develop merchandising tables and pallets
Build any type of merchandising table, pallet, rack for attire display with the use of Adobe Creative suite
Execute simple edits (color or art change) per buyer needs and request
Assist Design Coordinator in maintaining the sample room.
Assist/Contact technicians when printer issues occur.
Other duties assigned as needed
The Catalog Artist must be a team player and able to work under tight deadlines. To successfully fulfill this position, the Catalog Artist will have the ability to take criticism positively and willing to be held to a high standard. An eagerness to learn and genuine interest about this industry's happenings and the world in general are important.
The ideal candidate will be focused—having the ability to work on a single task for long periods of time without getting distracted—but is also flexible—having the ability to be diverted off a project intermittently and able to return without losing one's place or momentum.
* Software knowledge - intermediate working knowledge of the following: Adobe Photoshop,
Illustrator, InDesign; Sketchup (any other relative 3D or video editing/motion graphic software
a huge plus).
* Proficient with Microsoft Office 365—especially with Microsoft Excel.
* Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing amongst multiple departments.
* Must be highly organized and flexible; able to work under tight deadlines.
* Must have full-time availability.
