An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Front Office Commodities Developer in our New York office.
You will be a key team member in a growing NY Commodities trading desk where you will work hand in hand with the traders and sales to build a solid and robust trading solution.
Using your programming language skills you will be responsible for supporting trading processes from a technology perspective as well as bespoke problem solving and troubleshooting, managing incidents and implementing tactical issues.
Bringing your detail focused expertise you will be comfortable getting into the depths of a problem and be able to provide solutions. As well as working with proprietary systems to service front-office users in their day-to-day operations.
Your first class interpersonal skills will be utilized as you work hand in hand with the traders and sales team to build a solid and robust trading solution.
You will be proficient in C++ and Python and have a familiarity with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment with understanding of financial products/modeling being desirable
