New Business Development Specialist At Machobear Studios

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia

Job Description

Who are we?
Machobear Studios is an established tech firm that was set out to explore and conquer the unknown. We are seeking bright minds where you will take on exciting and challenging internal projects. Although you may not have all the skills required, we want you to be resourceful and willing to learn. If you are a dreamer who puts ideas into action, we want you!

What you’ll be doing:
  • Follow up with warm leads, schedule appointments by prospecting and cold calling within a given target market
  • Engage in proactive business conversations with potential customers to generate interest in our product
  • Generate quality leads via targeted communication (email, social networks and phone)
  • Qualify inbound leads (from our website and marketing campaigns)
  • Research potential new customers and generate target lists in addition to key decision makers and influencers
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams
  • Regularly follow up with decision makers to build relationships and generate new business inquiries
  • Contribute operationally to the growth of the company

What you bring to us:
  • University degree or diploma in marketing, sales or related field
  • A proven track record of achieving goals, whether personal or professional – we LOVE motivated people!
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to exceptional listening skills
  • Proficient with computers and software with an aptitude to learn new software and technologies.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment
  • Proven track record of execution in strategic campaigns, driving lead generation, and sales pipeline activity
  • A fun, creative approach and you’re not afraid to get weird
  • Highly organized and detail-orientated
  • Background in lead generation and management, specific background in B2B prospecting an asset
