We currently have an opportunity available, in our Scarborough office, for a career-minded Collection Specialist experienced in 3rd party Accounts Receivable Collections

The Collection Specialist is a senior position suitable for an ambitious, goal-oriented collector who is interested in broadening their career opportunities with a growth oriented company and who has:

• 2 years of experience in 3rd party collections
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• The ability to prioritize and organize work and to produce results in a rapidly evolving dynamic environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient knowledge of English is required
• An optimistic and positive work attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

The Collection Specialist has experience:

• Initiating outgoing calls to and managing incoming calls from debtors
• Negotiating repayment of overdue accounts with debtors
• Following up with debtors on repayment commitment
• Recording interaction with debtors and updating information on a computer system
