In early 2019, Neurio became part of Generac Power Systems of Waukesha, WI. Together with Pika Energy of Portland ME, our shared mission is to develop next generation energy storage systems in order to offer consumers a safe, reliable and clean source of power for their home. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
You'll collaborate with other skilled and passionate engineers to validate our next generation of energy metering and control products.
You'll design tests to stress those products and ensure they meet our standard for robustness and reliability.
You'll collaborate with the manufacturing test team to ensure the product is designed for test and assembly.
You'll work with the factory to transition the design from prototype to product. You'll work with the certification house to make sure the product is built to meet safety requirements
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical demands: Minimal Qualifications:
You've at least 3 years of electronics design experience building products using components such as microcontrollers, microprocessors, wifi radios, AC/DC power supplies and ADCs.
You've written a test plan for those products and executed it yourself.
You've a strong understanding of the principles of AC power, power conversion, and residential-scale energy storage.
You love taking on new challenges and solving complex problems.
You've worked in a small team where you had the freedom to manage your own time and responsibilities.
You're passionate about technology that promotes sustainable energy, reduces our dependence on CO2 and protects the environment.
