The Accounting Intern will be provided thoughtful opportunities to observe and participate in real-world examples of their in-class studies which includes various tasks and support of the finance department's systems, processes and daily activities.
Assist Cost Accounting team with daily/monthly close activities
Assist with month-end financial book preparation
Assist general ledger team with monthly close activities
Process accounts payable invoices and related credit/debit memos
Complete other projects as assigned.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
Sophomore year status or higher
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Microsoft Excel experience
Conscientious, self-motivated worker with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a group setting
Dependable and organized

Specific conditions of this job include are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
