GasBuddy is looking for a Product Marketing Manager with experience in digital marketing, e-commerce and reward-based marketing to support its growing advertising product portfolio. This is a foundational role to help us set our go-to market for our digital publishing business.

The ideal candidate has experience taking new products to market and developing successful go-to-market strategies; articulating compelling market positioning based on product distinctions; crafting messaging with marketing communications and sales teams; and understands how to align Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to effectively identify prospects, nurture leads, and close opportunities throughout a product's lifecycle.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will report into the EVP of Ad Sales and work closely with the national sales team, product development, brand marketing and marketing communications to ensure the go-to-market strategy and marketing lifecycle are aligned with business objectives. We are in search of an experienced candidate who is resourceful, assertive and takes a proactive approach through strong work ethic to ensure the successful launch of GasBuddy products.

Responsibilities

• Market Pathfinding - Implement and execute strategic market opportunities for new and existing products
• Product Positioning and Messaging - Develop product positioning and core messaging content to effectively differentiate GasBuddy products and value in the market
• Sales enablement – Develop content and awareness of our product's value and seek consensus amongst the sales team, develop resourceful assets and provide support to strengthen the selling process of our products
• Product launch – Organize the launch of new products and releases, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan, including strategizing with marketing, public relations, sales, operations and executive team
• Demand generation - develop strategies and manage marketing programs that drive demand for our advertising products
• Event Sponsorships - plan, negotiate and execute event sponsorships creating awareness of the GasBuddy advertising platform and relevant industry events and trade shows
• Scale and Manage Ads Product Marketing team as needs grow

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field
• Domain expertise in digital marketing, affiliate marketing or managing digital media platforms
• 5+ years of successful history in product marketing
• Experience in writing and presenting to executive decision makers
• Thrive under pressure and respond well to deadlines
• Ability to manage strategic plans and day-to-day tactical execution with assigned stakeholders
• Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties
• Ability to fight for the best possible consumer experience at ALL levels
