The talented Product Manager, Faucets & Sink Accessories we hire will lead our cross-functional team in the management and stewardship of our portfolio of faucets & sink accessories that support our market-leading kitchen sink business. This role reports into our Director of Product Management for Sinks & Faucets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the organization in the development of a vision and strategic business plan for our faucets and sink accessories.
  • Establish yourself as the holistic organizational business expert and owner for these categories. This includes expert knowledge on Elkay, our competition, end-user insights, channel partner needs, market trends, market pricing, manufacturing methods and costs, and supplier partners.
  • Based upon this expert knowledge, develop a strategic plan and business roadmap in collaboration with other key cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Identify and execute specific new product development projects and other key business initiatives in support of the strategic plan and business roadmap.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Product Management in establishing and communicating prioritization of projects and initiatives based upon business needs.
  • Collaborate with our Customer Insights team to drive market research efforts that inform new product development and business initiatives.
  • In support of new product development initiatives, clearly define and communicate product / project definition requirements to the cross-functional project teams.
  • Design and proactively steward product assortments for optimal mix of features, benefits and price points that insure best competitive value at lowest possible cost.
  • Collaborate with our finance team and senior business leaders in establishing financial targets and delivering to those targets.
  • Establish and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with all functional areas within Elkay, including Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Service.
  • Proactively provide strong, positive, and credible leadership to the cross-functional team to support effective and efficient execution of all business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with our demand planning team on business forecasting.
  • Manage day-to-day business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related studies is required; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years product management experience required.
  • Possesses a strategic “general manager” mindset. The ideal candidate will want to manage a business, not just products.
  • Demonstrated success in the following:
    • Leading cross-functional teams in the development and clear articulation of strategic plans and roadmaps.
    • Leading cross-functional teams in the development and launch of new products and other business initiatives.
    • Developing and presenting comprehensive business recommendations and proposals within the organization as well as to customers.
    • Developing compelling product assortments across multiple business channels.
    • Stewarding assortments to insure lowest possible cost based on customer requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills, including ability to confidently and persuasively present to senior leadership team and key customers.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across all levels and functions within the organization.
  • Prior channel marketing and / or sales experience a plus.
  • Able to travel up to 15% of time, including international travel.
