The primary goal is to identify the channels and partners that maximize Smartwell installations, grow market share and ensure Smartwell becomes the #1 product in the still/sparkling/flavored water category.

This role will report to the Director of Sales, International Plumbing Products and will be responsible for the development and implementation of nationwide, multi-channel distribution partners for the Elkay Smartwell product line that has an aggressive growth projection of $50M over the next 3 years. You will work closely with Smartwell Regional Account Leads and Associates to develop and penetrate the Office Coffee and Office Water Service market segments. You will be working with the marketing team to continue developing and evaluating the opportunity in the direct lease channel as well as:

  • Develop and execute strategy to grow the Smartwell Business by recruiting and onboarding National and Regional Office Coffee & Water Service distribution partners
  • Research and develop new channels for Smartwell distribution beyond OCS and OWS
  • Research prospective accounts in targeted channels, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement
  • Understand target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
  • Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the channels being pursued
  • Partner with Marketing team to monitor, qualify and distribute leads for direct leases to Smartwell Regional Sales Managers for execution
  • Develop metrics to measure results in support of overall Smartwell annual budgeted revenues, number of units installed, and number of flavor pouches sold

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Marketing or related area required. MBA desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development and/or outside sales roles with demonstrated track record of success.
  • Experience in the Office Coffee/Office Water Service channels, or in the beverage industry, is strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel nationwide. Estimated 25% travel.
