Elk Island Public Schools is recruiting a full-time temporary 1.0 FTE French Immersion Social Studies Teacher at Sherwood Heights Junior High School. The FTE may change due to student enrollment and budget. This position will also teach Social Studies 9 in English and a French as a Second Language 8 class.
Sherwood Heights Junior High School is a grades 7-9 school with approximately 570 students, 30 teaching staff, and 9 support staff. The school is located within Sherwood Park.

Bachelor of Education degree
Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Effective organization and classroom management skills
