Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is one of Alberta's largest school divisions, serving approximately 17,150 students in 43 schools. Our schools are largely located just east of the Alberta Capital Region, situated in both urban and rural areas including: Sherwood Park, Fort Saskatchewan, Vegreville (County of Minburn), Strathcona County, and Lamont County.
EIPS employs approximately 930 full-time equivalent teaching staff and 580 full-time equivalent non-teaching staff, and are seeking to recruit and retain highly motivated, creative, and engaged professionals, who will enable us to teach our students how to learn, prepare each student to achieve their best, and assist students in becoming contributing members of society.
