Customer Service Opening
Richmond-based growing distribution company is looking for a key team member to fill a full time customer service position.
We seek an energetic, self-starter with a positive attitude and an experienced "superstar" customer service mindset.
The position is focused on customer service, specifically:
* Detailed data entry & invoicing.
* Shared reception duties including phones, filing & some mailing
* Answering customer inquiries via phone and/or email.
* Resolving customer inquiries and concerns via phone, email and fax.
* Compiling reports on sales, products, customers and territories.
* Ordering office supplies and contribute to office organization
Proven customer service and organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and a great sense of humour are all important as is the ability to work both independently and as a contributing member of our small, happy tight-knit team.
Over and above the verbal and written communication skills (fluent English at a minimum; having French would be an asset) we're looking for a candidate with strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and Adagio (accounting software). Experience with websites (support & maintenance) and social media would also be advantageous.
The right candidate may also be required to assist with a few tasks in our small but expanding warehouse. The warehouse component of the position (5% - 10% of the position) definitely has a limited physical element to it; light shipping and some inventory management.
Additional duties of this position may include some mail room functions and a variety of projects throughout the year including mailings of marketing materials and preparations for trade shows we participate in.
