We're an online marketplace/app company that is rapidly growing throughout Toronto and the GTA.
We help small businesses increase revenues through a boost in foot traffic by sending new customers to their establishment.
This role is an entry level position for somebody who is commission-motivated and wants to break into the SaaS space.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Use a mix of Inside and Outside Sales (Cold calling, Drop In's & Scheduled Appointments) to inform and sign up additional businesses to the platform
- Build call sheets; source and qualify leads; collect information from gatekeepers
- Book appointments and close deals in person, or close over the phone; use your salesmanship to determine which route is best suited for that individual prospect
- Make 75-100 phone calls per day
- Visit 10-20 businesses in person per day
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects
Who we're looking for:
- A talented and relentless salesperson who is organized, activity-driven, and a natural closer
- 1-2 years of prior sales experience is ideal; direct experience in 'Merchant Acquisition' will make you a highly desirable candidate
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to quickly build rapport and interest
- Professional, punctual and an infectiously positive attitude
- Bilingualism is an asset
- $1,500 - 2,000 starting base salary
- $100 commission per business onboarded (target: 30 sign ups per month)
