We are a Vancouver based Construction Company that is looking for a full-time accountant. The ideal candidate will want to grow with the company by learning additional accounting functions and be willing to take on increased responsibility.
Key duties will include:
-Processing accounts payment invoices - Receiving coded invoices and entering them into the accounting software, then review reports to verify accuracy of entry.
-Tracking rental and owned equipment - Using tracking software to create Excel reports which are used to enter equipment costs into the accounting software.
-Answering Phones as needed
-Following up with the Foreman on any missing invoice or equipment information
-Update and maintain Excel reports
-Helping co-workers as needed
Required Skills and Experience:
-Microsoft Office experience, Excel being the most valuable
-College degree with Accounting emphasis
-Desire to learn additional accounting roles and responsibilities
-Ability to learn new software quickly
-Willing to help out in other roles within the office
