Accounting Coordinator - Downtown Vancouver - 2- Month Interim with potential for full time
Established private language school in downtown Vancouver requires a motivated individual with capable accounting and professional skills for an interim 2-month project and the possibility of gaining full-time employment.
Hi/She will have experience in full-cycle accounting, financial, administrative management to support the company's needs and improve processes. He/she will be assisting the executive in maintaining cash controls, preparing the payroll and personnel administration, maintaining accounts payable, and managing office financial operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to earn more experience in full-cycle accounting as well as being involved in management, communication, and process improvement projects while supporting the executive team.
LOCATION: Downtown Vancouver by the Sky train.

CONTRACT LENGTH: 2- months, interim, potentially leading to a full-time opportunity.
BENEFITS: Starting salary will be equivalent to $45,000 - $46,000 annually depending on experience, extended medical benefits available after three months, some workdays could be carried out remotely n the future.
QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration and completion of a recognized accounting would be an asset, combined with practical work experience.
JOB DETAILS: The candidate must have some experience in the following areas; working with computerized accounting programs and POS systems; accounts payable and accounts receivables, understand generally accepted accounting principles, preparation of monthly financial statements, administration of employee benefits, and payroll. Ability to work in a MicroSoft environment including a good understanding of Excel, good organizational and communication skills, and enjoying working on process improvement.
