The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the successful management and day to day operations of the company’s Salesforce and Pardot Marketing Automation systems as well as analysis and reporting on the effectiveness of paid marketing efforts and ad campaigns. Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the Marketing Specialist will be responsible for providing insights from data into which leads and marketing tactics should be prioritized. You will support the marketing and sales teams by creating and managing campaigns, entering leads, drive adoption, and train users while ensuring data is clean and accurate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Marketing Communications Manager and VP Marketing to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals
- Execute and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of paid marketing tactics to generate leads
- Enter leads acquired through inbound marketing programs including events and conferences, ads, webinars, and other campaigns and initiatives
- Maintain accurate lead and customer information by routinely mining, reviewing, and cleaning up the database though duplicate checks and manual review to ensure all data is logged, accurate and up to date
- Using Pardot marketing analytics advise on the creation of personalized nurture campaigns for prospects and customers throughout their lifecycle
- Support prospecting and lead nurturing efforts of target accounts with introduction and follow up emails
- Work with the Account Executives to develop targeted outreach programs
- Use Zoominfo and Hoovers to ensure contact data and lists are accurate and up to date
- Build landing pages using Pardot and ensure forms and campaigns support marketing initiatives like webinars and ads
- Identify opportunities for pipeline development through database mining and other analytical activities
- Develop and manage reporting dashboards so that key performance indicators such as funnel health, conversion rates, pipeline growth and performance, lead acquisition and qualification, lead source attribution, and customer acquisition trends provide the leadership team with key insights to drive decision making
- Train new Salesforce users so they have a solid understanding of the product’s capabilities and how it should be used within their role
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Communications, or Marketing or equivalent experience in a marketing or sales capacity in a solution-selling environment
- Three or more years of experience using Salesforce Sales Cloud and Pardot are a definite asset
- Energetic and upbeat with excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Must be highly analytical, organized, and process oriented with an outstanding attention to detail
- Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools, including Microsoft Office
