Manager, Marketing, Post-Sale At Conde Nast

Job Description

Condé Nast is a global media company producing the highest quality content with a footprint of more than 1 billion consumers in 32 territories through print, digital, video and social platforms. The company’s portfolio includes many of the world’s most respected and influential media properties including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Self, GQ, The New Yorker, Condé Nast Traveler/Traveller, Allure, AD, Bon Appétit and Wired, among others. Condé Nast Entertainment was launched in 2011 to develop film, television and premium digital video programming.

Job Description

Manager, Post-Sale Marketing, Style Division

The Style Division is made up of core Condé Nast titles, Vogue, GQ, Allure, Glamour and Vanity Fair. The Post Sale Marketing team is responsible for owning the activation process to bring Beauty marketing programs to life. The ideal candidate has an affinity for Condé Nast brands and Beauty, Fashion, and Luxury categories. You will collaborate with the sales, digital operations, insights/research, creative, experiential, and PR teams to produce advertiser programs that include custom video, native articles, events, and social/digital first content. We’re looking for a creative problem solver, who’s organized, adaptable and great with client services and communication.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan, manage, and execute multiple sold programs across CN’s portfolio of brands including content creation, event activations, influencer programs, social campaigns, print units, and more

  • Manage all client and agency communication while working in tandem with internal partners

  • Identify potential campaign and program hurdles and optimize in real time

  • Effectively manage program budgets, timelines, and content/talent agreements

  • Cultivate relationships with key clients, industry leaders, production partners, and internal teams

  • Monitor industry and media trends to help identify new partnership offerings


Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Positive, solutions oriented attitude
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of digital marketing experience in publishing, advertising, and/or retail organization with an understanding in driving engagement and consumer revenue.
  • A digital marketer with an ability to work with editorial and digital product teams to develop brand relevant marketing initiatives
  • An innate desire to seek out, understand and evaluate emerging technologies and then provide perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Analytically and data driven with a keen creative sensibility.
  • Understanding of social media and digital marketing best practices. Seeks to stay abreast of digital marketing activities of other organizations and develop actionable insights.
  • Strong ability to assess priorities and multi-task
  • Adapt to fast-paced environment and take direction from multiple people
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate several internal processes, procedures and content management systems
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Conversant and able to use technology and marketing platforms and tools that can measure and drive marketing programs and conversions.
  • Have or develop a strong working knowledge of analytic tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture, Adobe Audience Manager, Parse.ly, and similar tools.
  • Experience in G Suite & Adobe products
