Job Description

Experiences Manager Condé Nast’s Experiences team is made up of strategists and producer/project management experts who combine the power of our authoritative brands with a vast portfolio of experiential capabilities to bring unforgettable live experiences to our audience of affluent, influential and engaged consumers. We develop best-in-class experiential tentpoles and client events that meet objectives, build brand value and connect clients to their ideal target audiences. Whatever the challenge, we deliver superior results like no one else can. Opportunity We are looking for an ambitious Experiences Manager to join the team for the execution of bespoke experiences across brands as well as client activation management for tentpole events. We are looking for a candidate that is highly motivated, focused and creative with extensive experience in the advertising industry. Someone that thrives under pressure and works well independently while serving as an integral member of a team. Proven ability to create and execute targeted, strategic events; spearheading details from initial concept to production as well as identifying and quantifying key success metrics. The Manager position is a key role within the Experiences team, responsible for successfully shepherding programs from the point at which they’re sold through to launch and post-execution analysis - owning the internal client relationships with Creative, Sales, and Marketing and the external client relationships with the agency/agencies and brand contacts, and overseeing the production of the various elements internally with all necessary disciplines. This experiential role is the post-sale go-to person for all stakeholders. Projects can range from single events to multi-city tours with several partners, with associated production budgets of $200K+. Interested candidates should possess two key traits: * A passion for tackling large, experientially-led programs and bringing them successfully to life, AND * The associated experience that enables them to do so - some suggestions: * 5+ years of experiential project management and/or client services/account management experience * 5+ years of professional experience * Experience working with internal design and production teams, and external vendors, to execute multiple programs in a fast-paced, high-energy environment * High motivation, self-starter initiative, and the ability to hit the ground running Core Responsibilities * Serve as an experiential activation client contact for select accounts * Manage the execution of single-advertiser events from start to finish * Generate and adhere to program production budgets and timelines * Evaluate creative elements throughout the production process to ensure that client objectives are met * Interface with other internal departments including Creative, Sales, Marketing, Social * Contract external creative/production vendors when necessary * Ability to successfully manage other team members and freelance staff * Work with the Head of Experiences and Head of Special Projects to manage, coordinate, and execute meetings, programs and special events for clients as well as internal team Desired Skills & Experience * Passion for advertising and the emerging world of experiences * Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities, work under pressure in fast-paced environment, and interact with wide range of people * Highly organized with great attention to detail * Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to represent varying opinions within a strong, collaborative team environment * Ability to think objectively and problem solve * Experience with luxury clients a plus * Comfortable with budgeting and sales reporting * Familiar with calendar/event management software * Proficient in Word, Excel, InDesign and Keynote as well as Google Docs * Bachelor’s degree plus minimum of 5 years of related experience in event operations and planning.
