Associate, Video Scheduling & Planning At Conde Nast

Job Description

Condé Nast Entertainment (CNE) is looking for an eager associate who thrives on complexity, is intellectually curious, and has an understanding of a constantly shifting video production environment. This person must build relationships and enforce decision-making across many different departments, and have the technical skills to manage and update a robust scheduling system.

As part of CNÉ’s Video Distribution & Operations team, this role requires the ability to work across multiple teams to align the publish dates of videos across 20 different brands and multiple platforms, gather and communicate information between various stakeholders, and find optimal solutions to complex problems. Candidate must possess a broad range of skills, be ambitious, and have a passion for digital video and how it’s consumed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage video content calendars for Conde Nast properties.

  • Coordinate with the Sales and Marketing teams the optimization and publishing of all Branded videos.

  • Reinforce publishing best practices across production and talent teams.

  • Categorize social posts of Conde Nast content for analytical purposes and align scheduling data with data of production management, post production, and strategy.

  • Distribute scheduling and production alerts.

  • Manage video metadata and tentpole entry in the video planning system.

  • Serve as backup for the management and troubleshooting of the video planning software system.

  • Assist the Associate Director of Video Planning and provide backup for all scheduling related issues.

Requirements

  • College Degree

  • Specific experience in a fast-paced video production environment

  • Informed decision-making skills based on best practices, analytics, industry trends

  • Proven ability to work across teams with different objectives

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly detail oriented, patient, influential, organized and collaborative

  • Ability to manage time and schedules with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams to meet deadlines

  • Proficient in spreadsheet programs

  • Flexible and adaptable to change
