Reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations the Accounts Payable specialist is responsible for timely preparation, processing, and generation of purchase orders, performing A/P relatedfunctions such as warrant generation, vendor account reconciliations,system testing, problem resolution, reconcile and maintain employee attendance in the HRIS database, and other duties as assigned.This position requires the ability to work based on agreed upon procedures. An exceptional customer service orientation and the ability touse and consolidate data and to organize and present information are also required. The Accounts Payable Specialist will interface with all levels of staff and with constituents in an open, friendly, and professional manner. The Accounts Payable Specialist will serve as a link between the Business Office and employees.
The Accounts Payable Specialist must possess initiative, excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable the efficient resolution of both internal and external concerns.Requirements: Candidate must have a high degree of accuracy and excellent time management skills, be a team player, and self-starter. The successful candidate must be able to handle confidential information and work in an environment of constant deadlines. Candidate must have a strong working knowledge of Infinite Visions, or similar HR and Accounting system, and familiarity with Excel and Word.
