Job description:

This individual will be responsible for mining, analyzing and managing all data accrued by the sales teams and through channel efforts to build customer engagement and develop sales campaigns. They will work closely with the Marketing, Solutions Architect and Inside Sales team members to define targets and trends as well as develop insights allowing the teams to build a strategy and enabling sales to grow and upsell accounts in key markets. This candidate will report directly into the program director.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leverage and combine customer data ranging from CRM (Sales Force), and internal support team to create and manage lists for call, email and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Continuously evaluate accounts, to provide cross selling strategy, opportunities and dialogue for inside sales team.
  • Develop sales reports for Sales Management team, which includes everything from pipeline, forecasts, to booked orders reports.
  • Develop sales target maps by plotting customer and sales data.
  • Prepare reports, detailing revenue, results, and essentially the return on investment (ROI) for each quarter/ year.

Skills Required:

  • Solid quantitative analytic skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Excellent written and communication skills – communicate with various levels and teams
  • Familiarity with the main data manipulation languages and the principles of database design
  • The ability to work tight deadlines under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills and superior attention to detail that requires the individual to work in a fast-paced environment that can manage projects and effectively meet aggressive timelines
  • Flexibility and adaptability - to quickly change focus for other team members and reports under urgent situations
  • Great at multitasking - to be able to work multiple reports with numerous time lines
  • Teamwork - the ability to create and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point, Sales Force, and Data.Com
  • Experience with Sales Force CRM tool and similar programs
  • Strong presentation skills, much of this position will require presenting findings to sales team and leaders.
  • Business awareness and understanding of business requirements of IT
  • Willingness to keep up to date with developments in new technology
  • Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD)

Required Education & Experience:

  • Associates Degree
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional experience required. Experience in analyzing, reporting data, and preparing sales reports/data
  • Certificate completed in advanced Excel course/ training
  • Experienced knowledge of Sales Force CRM tool

Working hours:

Working hours are (40) hours a week, Monday to Friday, and will be required to work company quarter end to monitor opportunity tracking and closure (during periods of customer opportunity sales transactions) when all sales opportunities are scheduled to close. Real time reporting will be required during this time to report back the final numbers.

Professional development:

Most formal training will be provided on the job. It will largely consist of sales technical training on the systems used by employer and in any relevant software. In-house training will be supplemented by short, internal courses, as appropriate.

Taking additional courses can help you progress professionally completing program sales accreditations.

To understand user needs, you'll need to be able to work in multidisciplinary teams and will usually be given in-house soft skills training to help facilitate this. This will usually cover communication, time management and department service skills, as well as sessions on company products and procedures.

Mentoring schemes and individually-tailored training plans will be provided.
