Job Description

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

The Business Development Representative will take part in a wide variety of initiatives that support the rapid growth of the Software Solutions and Learning & Training business divisions. The role focuses on B2B lead generation, lead qualification, lead nurturing, among other initiatives. The candidate will receive training and exposure to sales methodologies, product knowledge, and systems and processes. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to build a foundation in sales and the ability for career growth within our sales team.

You’re able to:

  • Generate new business via outbound cold calling, emails & research as well as qualifying inbound leads.
  • Qualify leads and secure meetings for sales.
  • Meet and exceed monthly & quarterly goals and KPIs.
  • Become an expert on CGS’s technology solutions and clearly convey its value proposition and capabilities to prospects.
  • Maintain a sales pipeline using our sales tools – Salesforce & Outreach.

You have:

  • Prior inside sales experience and enterprise-level prospecting
  • Proven track record of successfully prospecting business
  • Excellent written/ verbal communication skills, and a clear understanding of business phone and email etiquette
  • Dynamic personality with a high-energy level
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks
  • A positive attitude and are not deterred by setbacks
