Help Desk Technician - Level 1 At Compunet Info Tech

Are you a motivated team player with a passion for helping people find technical solutions? Our team is looking for a results-oriented entry level Help Desk Technician to join our growing team!

If multiple problems come up at once, you take the challenge head on and don’t get intimidated by working under pressure.

You will be the point of contact for clients calling requiring technical support. Your ability to build trust quickly over the phone or email leaves a great impression with anyone you contact. Your genuine concern for solving clients’ problems quickly so they can get back to running their business is what sets you apart.

Key Accountabilities

As a Level 1 Technical Support Staff, you are responsible for:

  • Being the first response to support requests involving various hardware, software, networking, and operating system problems
  • Creating detailed documentation for each case and generating reports
  • Working with senior team members to document client configuration and procedures/workflows on an ongoing basis
  • Assisting engineers and senior team members throughout projects and other cases as required
  • Working with our CRM and automatic management tools
  • Attending weekly operational meetings to review the calls and issues from that week

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Eager to learn new skills and grow with the company
  • Patient and professional at all times
  • Team player mentality with the ability to take criticism to improve
  • Minimum 1 year of computer technical background is required
  • The following certificates are preferred but not required:
    • CompTIA Networking+
    • CompTIA A+
    • MicrosoftMCSA or equivalent
  • Fluent in Spanish is an asset
