Student System Analyst At Compugen Inc

Overview
Compugen is looking for a dynamic individual to join our Resource Management Office (RMO) within our PS Operations Team
Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, and working with the RMO Manager and PS Operations Director, the Systems Analyst will monitor and manage the resource management process and provide timely assignment of Advanced Solutions Consultants to approved projects.
The Systems Analyst will update and administer the resource management automation tools to provide accurate visibility to resource skills, utilization, and availability.
Responsibilities
  • Define and coordinate the introduction and implementation of new Operations/Resource Management tools, infrastructure, and processes.
  • Monitor the resource request queue of qualified projects and track resource assignment progress.
  • Update and maintain Consultants bookings based on current status.
  • Work with Practice Leadership to ensure an effective and efficient balance of supply (resources) with demand (sales & delivery).
  • Ensure that resource allocation, availability and forecast overviews are accurate and up-to-date and completed in a timely fashion.
  • Conduct research to identify alternate staffing solutions.
  • Interact with the Practice Leadership and Project Managers to accurately report and communicate project timeline changes impacting Consultant availability.
  • Prepare dashboard material for RMO and Management reviews.
  • Provide input and feedback to support continuous improvement and the implementation of best practices for the RMO and PS Operations
  • Provide timely escalation of resourcing issues including availability, timing, skills and project conflicts.
  • Work with Practice Leadership to update our resource skills database and training schedule.
  • Assist in the development of contingency plans.

    Qualifications
  • At least 2 years work experience in Resource Management or related field; experience in professional services consulting required.
  • Experience working with Resource Management automation tools, processes and procedures.
  • Highly skilled in use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to interpret trend reports to anticipate outcomes.
  • Strong communication, influencing and analytical skills.
  • Strong business acumen; ability to prioritize and balance workload in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proven collaboration skills, ability to work across a range of interpersonal styles.
  • Knowledge of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and/or Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools is a strong asset. Planview PPM Pro and Microsoft Dynamics would be ideal.
  • Experience identifying, analyzing and managing project level issues and risks and recommending mitigation.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Proven skills in problem solving and conflict resolution.
  • Organization, presentation and facilitation skills.
