CLA, THE Career-Building Firm, is recruiting a Client Relationship Leader with experience leading the day to day business development efforts in a professional services organization to join our Consulting and Accounting Solutions Team (CAST) practice in the Chicago market!
The Client Relationship Leader implements and leads the business development efforts for market. The day to day responsibilities include generating business development leads with Big Four and regional Audit Partners, Senior Audit Managers, Chief Financial Officers, Controllers and others and expanding new sales opportunities within current clients. The Client Relationship Leader also project manages client relationships for existing engagements. While representing CLA at networking events and in public forums, the Client Relationship Leader has the skills to maximize networking opportunities and demonstrates exceptional client service. The Client Relationship Leader is driven to succeed and genuinely interested in making a difference for our clients, while growing CAST revenue. The Client Relationship Leader has the ability to recognize opportunities, problem solve and close business- with a focus on growing the business with new client sources. The duties of a Client Relationship Leader also include preparing presentations and proposals, maintaining sales activity in CRM, and assisting in the operations of the practice as needed.
Experience, Education, and Certification Requirements
Experience: 10 years of work experience, including Big Four Audit Manager or other public accounting as well as industry experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
Certification/ Licenses: CPA preferred.
This position requires frequent local travel to/from client sites and may require occasional non-local or overnight travel for client visits, training, meetings and/or other business-related purposes.
