NEW! Senior Account Executive At Clevest Solutions

Location: Richmond, British Columbia

Job Description

Clevest transforms mobile workforces for utilities with its leading Mobile Workforce Management software. We’ve launched mobile applications and platforms that are easy to use so that utilities can scale their workforce in the field and leverage the latest technologies in their day-to-day work. We enable utilities to transform their field operations by rapidly automating and optimizing any field work activity or process to improve response time and effectiveness. Our platforms offer utility operations personnel in both the office and field improved location and situational awareness for faster, more intelligent decision-making, greater safety and easier regulatory compliance.

We are growing and looking for high-energy, driven Senior Account Executives with relevant experience with B2B sales and value driven sales approach to join our team. Ideal candidates should possess new business sales experience. Understanding of the utilities sector is a plus, as well as understanding of a complex solution sales.

In a team environment, you will be responsible for securing new business and up-selling to existing electric, gas & water utility accounts within an assigned territory. Sales will be achieved via direct selling to end customers and also through Clevest’s established partner channel. Clevest offers a competitive salary and commission plan commensurate with previous experience.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Achieving personal and team sales quota
  • Qualifying and winning new business by driving the complete sales cycle, including identifying customer needs/demands
  • Managing and supporting sales through existing channel partners and representatives
  • Identifying, understanding and mapping out customer organization decision makers and their buying process
  • Making presentations and software demonstrations to customers at a senior level
  • Prospecting within your territory for new business opportunities, growing the pipeline and adding opportunities to the CRM
  • Manage the pipeline, ensuring an accurate forecast with daily updates in the CRM
  • Follow up on leads provided by marketing in a timely and effective manner while maintaining a high conversion rate
  • Contributing to RFI/RFP responses
  • Negotiating and closing deals
  • Working and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders
  • Developing account sales plans
  • Reporting all sales activities via Salesforce.com

Desired qualifications, experience, and competencies:

  • Minimum 2 years technology sales experience or equivalent
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting, qualifying and closing new customer business
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn technical products and solutions
  • Action oriented, self-motivated, responsible, energized
  • Proven strategic and tactical selling skills
  • Ability to travel once or twice a year
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A background in mobile/workforce automation or location applications and/or software-based solutions is considered an asset
  • Experience selling to utility customers is desirable
  • Experience using CRM (Salesforce.com) and MS office applications (MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
