Eastern Regional Sales Manager At Cleaver-Brooks

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Eastern Regional Sales Manager job description

This position is responsible for ensuring the Eastern US and Canadian region meets its growth and margin targets, contributing towards the overall company sales goals. This is highly technical position with a focus on domestic hot water and hydronic systems. It requires extensive overnight travel within the assigned territory and occasional travel elsewhere. We would prefer the RSM to be based in the Greater Toronto Area but will consider qualified candidates that live elsewhere within the Eastern region.

What you would be doing:

  • Working with distributors and wholesalers.
  • Evaluating potential and existing representatives.
  • Setting territory and representative targets
  • Making sales and engineering calls with representatives
  • Providing sales, systems and product training to representatives
  • Develop and deliver technical sales presentations on systems and products to engineering and trade groups
  • Provide timely market intel to company.
  • Occasional trade shows and industry events.

Key Performance Metrics

  • Regional gross sales
  • Regional gross margin
  • Total Camus Sales Target


Responsibilities

  • Complete and accurate expense reports
  • Weekly activity report
  • Monthly/Annual sales plan
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics

Experience:

  • More than 5 years industry experience required
  • Plumbing distributor sales experience required

Education:

  • Post secondary education desired

Required Skills

  • Microsoft office
  • Public speaking
  • Valid drivers license
