CLEAResult is looking for a Full-time Account Manager (AM), to support our schools programs in Northern California. The AM maintains current relationships and also recruits local educational agencies (school districts) to participate in the program, and works closely with utility representatives to provide energy efficiency consulting. The AM will manage a large contact base and have primary responsibility for driving energy efficiency at customer sites.
Account Managers are accountable for achieving specific energy savings goals.
The Account Manager spends a significant amount of time in the field doing customer, vendor, and contractor outreach, and works from a Bay Area office (Oakland or Burlingame) when not in the field.
The primary objective of this position is to help institutional, public, K-12 local educational agencies discover, design and implement energy efficiency projects. Experience with k-12 market segment, and California public utilities strongly preferred. Responsibilities of this dynamic role include leading group presentations and workshops as well as providing energy efficiency consulting. Key duties and skills required for this position include:
Proactively develop, manage and expand relationships with public school districts, facilities managers, vendors, contractors, and utility representatives.
Perform initial customer screening to determine whether candidate buildings are eligible for the program
Act as an energy consultant to customers and encourage implementation of recommended energy efficiency measures and projects
Accurate project forecasting and coordination with operations support team
Maintain existing accounts, and develop new accounts for kWh, kW, and therm projects
Documentation and management of customer, client, vendor, and contractor interactions and project status
Contribution toward program strategy for achieving energy savings goals, program success, and customer and client satisfaction
Coordinate with customers, clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure that projects are progressing and completing on schedule and notify management staff of any project set-backs early with proposed solutions
