Account Manager At Cleardent

Location: Burnaby, British Columbia

Job Description

Job Summary

ClearDent, the fastest growing dental software company in Canada, is looking for an Account Manager who is responsible for the management of sales and relationships with ClearDent's existing customers. This individual is responsible for ensuring the customer continues to use ClearDent and services to understand the customers demands, plan how to meet these demands and generate sales(new sales/upsells) for the company as a result.

The Account Manager operates as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to their accounts and acts as an interface between Customer Support, Customer Success and the Accounting and Finance teams.

The Account Manager is responsible for achieving assigned sales quotas and targets as set by management and acts as the initial point person for billing and Accounts Receivables inquiries and follow ups.

Primary Responsibilities

Revenue Generation

Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers and develop new business by:

  • Serving as the lead point of contact for all account management matters and building strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Utilising effective questioning and probing questions to understand needs of clients and to align ClearDent’s solutions to address those needs
  • Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profits
  • Staying knowledgeable of ClearDent’s suite of products and services
  • Utilization of CRM and other business intelligence tools to identify opportunities for upsells/new sales

Customer service and billing support

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by:

  • Developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
  • Helping to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Working with cross-functional internal teams (including the Implementation and Product teams) to improve the entire customer experience
  • Act as a first point of contact to help resolve billing inquiries and Accounts Receivables (taking payments, explaining invoices and statements, helping collect over-due balances and escalating billing issues to Accounting and Finance team)
  • Assisting with challenging customer requests or escalations as needed

Administration

Mange a clear and organized pipeline of business opportunities by:

  • Keeping detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions in CRM and other relevant business applications
  • Reporting on sales activity
  • Providing forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods
  • Other duties as may be required and assigned by CRO

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in an Account Management role, preferably in software
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets

  • Experience with billing and A/R related service requests

  • Demonstrated success with solving problems and advocating for customers

  • Comfortable with technology, strong computer skills

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM

  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills

  • Post Secondary diploma or higher preferred
