Assist Recreation Coordinators to ensure a smoothly run event and to handle any issues that may arise in the course of the event
Perform event-related set-up/tear-down tasks including: pulling any necessary items, loading/unloading and delivery/pick-up as needed
Assist with a variety of events that are operated/run by the City of Cambridge including, but not limited to: Concerts in the Park, Free Summer Fun Events, Whimsical Wednesday’s and Movie Nights
Some social media support will be required (Twitter, Canva, Hootsuite,and Instagram)
Assist team with any other job as required
Possession of Police Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
Able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
Experience in Canva, Hootsuite, Twitter & Instagram
Valid G/ G2 Driver’s License and access to vehicle required
Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
Ability to multi-task efficiently
Ability to be flexible/adaptable
Ability to comply with instructions
Ability to work under pressure effectively
The hourly Rate of pay for this non-union casual, part-time position is $16.35 per hour
35 hours/ 8 weeks (Starting on or before June 29th ). Some evening/ weekend shifts as needed.
