Stewardship of departmental performance excellence in service delivery by strengthening collaborative relationships with industry partners, community and internal stakeholders. This includes leading the emerging committee framework for external stakeholders dedicated to projects and initiatives across all three service lines.
Provide strategic direction in the development and implementation of the service insights framework. This includes oversight of industry partner events and initiatives, and driving recommendations to strengthen the industry, community and employee experience as part of PD’s service delivery model.
Oversight of the departmental Business Strategy functions. This includes reporting and analytics, business planning services through coordination of the internal accountability framework, and budget management.
Set direction and have accountability for the Learning & Development function for the PD department, which focuses on training, performance, and the employee experience to drive business goals and outcomes.
Provide key insights to inform the direction by PD leadership, by fulfilling an essential link between the cross-departmental functions within the Service Performance division and PD leadership.
Lead a team of diverse professionals, ensuring that the work and resources are planned, prioritized and leveraged effectively to further departmental and corporate priorities.
Develop and sustain strategic business plans for the division in alignment with the department’s vision, Administration’s objectives, and Council priorities. Provide support and input into the creation, execution and reporting of operational plans within the division, which underpin the strategic business plans.
Lead a culture within the Service Performance division that focuses on driving performance, quality, innovation and process excellence through collaboration and customer focus. Provide input to the Director & CAC Management Team on people & culture drivers for the business unit.
