Location: Los Angeles, California

Job Description

At ban.do, we exist to help you be your best and we encourage joy. We put you first—and, more importantly, we believe you should put yourself first. Since 2008 we’ve been curating and creating thoughtfully-designed products that make life a little bit brighter and a lot more fun. Over a decade later, this remains our mission, as does drawing awareness to mental health and creating products dedicated to your well-being.

We’re looking for a full-time marketing associate to help us with everything from administrative marketing duties and PR sampling and gifting to event preparation, calendar upkeep, sample tracking, and maintenance of our press kits. If all of that sounds fun and you’re really into collaboration and hard work, you just might be the perfect fit.

  • Manage PR, marketing, and event inventory and keep track of sample pulls and returns
  • Assist in creation of marketing/PR assets and media/event outreach
  • Organize resource folders of assets and collateral
  • Assist with media monitoring and reporting
  • Schedule and participate in team meetings and contribute to marketing strategies
  • Assist with marketing/gifting strategy, shipping outgoing packages, and tracking receipt and influencer posts
  • Support each event, including pre and post production, setup, and execution
  • Collaborate on ban.do affiliate program and track revenue
  • Track the calendar and ensure deadlines are met
  • Receive and process PR and marketing requests
  • Assist marketing managers/directors with calendar upkeep, planning documents, and meeting agenda creation
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in ban.do’s employee handbook
  • Any other tasks that may be assigned to meet company goals

Requirements

  • Entry-level position
  • Ability to multitask, think on your feet, and solve problems
  • A self-starter who is extremely organized
  • Hard-working, dedicated, and willing to be a team player
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications with emphasis on public relations preferred
  • Prior experience in a marketing/pr internship or similar program
  • Efficiency in MS Office and Google tools required
