Marketing Programs Manager At Backstop Solutions Group LLC

The role of a Marketing Programs Manager will be to execute Backstop’s Account-Based Marketing Strategy. Given a set of target accounts, segments, and business objectives for each segment, the Marketing Programs Manager creates and manages - from concept to completion - marketing programs to accomplish the business objectives by segment.

The ideal Marketing Programs Manager is experienced with managing web- and social-based marketing, direct mail, webinars, email nurture, trade shows, display advertising, and paid search. The Marketing Programs Manager knows how to strategically pull together multi-channel campaigns and work closely with our Sr Demand Generation and Marketing Operations Specialist as well as our Lead Development Rep and Sales teams to execute them.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute high quality marketing programs to aid in achieving the business goals and objectives by target account segment.
  • Develop and execute multi-touch campaigns, strategies, nurture flows, and engagement programs.
  • Offer creative concepts for review and approval. Review and edit internal and external marketing pieces including ads, brochures, direct mail, newsletters, website and other marketing materials.
  • Manage the content creation process needed to support multi-touch, multi-channel campaigns, with internal stakeholders and outside agencies.
  • Work with and monitor the work of the local marketing agencies as requested and ensure that goals are being achieved to the agreed quality standards within the agreed budgets.
  • Other duties as required by the VP of Marketing.


Required Experience:

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience relating to the above responsibilities
  • Experience in software/high tech industries, and/or financial services vertical
  • Experience and demonstrated success with ABM tools and techniques, such as Terminus, Demandbase, and others
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g. Hubspot)
  • Ability to add value to the creative process, and bring ideas through to completion
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment with Sales, Lead Development, and Product Management
  • Previous demand-gen/digital/B2B agency experience a plus
  • Strong verbal, written, and project management skills
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong initiative, proactive and willing to take ownership of projects from start to finish
  • Adaptable and eager to learn and assume new responsibilities

Education and Training:

  • Bachelor's Degree
