Business Development Manager - Financial Advisor Channel At B2B Bank

Exciting opportunity to join a growth organization that is transforming to become the bank of choice through and along with our intermediaries to deliver new products, services and channels. As an active member of the Business Development team, the incumbent will source and develop new and existing partnerships with financial advisors, agents and dealers to sell B2B Bank products and digital solutions. This includes supporting and executing on various sales activities, sales campaigns and Business Development and/or Marketing driven initiatives to build sales momentum and contribute to the maximization of gross sales. To be successful in the role, the incumbent must be a self-starter with a proven track record of superior sales, a strong mortgage background, experience in business development and strong presentation skills.


Responsibilities :

Build and maintain positive business relationships with Financial Advisors, Dealers and mutual fund manufacturer wholesalers, through the promotion of lending products and dealer solutions to growth sales volumes Apply B2B Bank sales methodology to solicit and develop new business opportunities, and effectively build and manage a sales pipeline. Proactively promote B2B Bank digital and legacy products and programs to existing and prospective financial advisors to surpass sales objectives Provide expert guidance to educate and assist financial advisors with selecting B2B Bank products and services that will meet their business needs. Represents B2B Bank by developing and maintaining strong and ongoing business relationships in his/her market Meet and exceed sales and activity objectives along with prospecting goals. Develop and rigorously follow a quarterly sales plan to achieve objectives. Prepare, coordinate and deliver effective and targeted presentations, webinars, conference calls, etc. for client meetings, groups and conference. Work as part of a team in support of sales and marketing activities including, trade shows, conferences, marketing campaigns/promotions and client presentations Deploys optimal strategies in partnership with their inside sales colleague to develop and close business opportunity and grow their region Identify market opportunities and pursue desired new prospects within the assigned territory. Liaise with Head Office and Advisors to resolve customer services issues. Solves, in collaboration with internal stakeholders, any problems that could have an effect on customer retention and profitability. Works closely with National Distribution team to identify sales opportunities and close business. Provides input to the development of new products and services and ongoing initiatives. Remain current on the various legislation, procedures, standards and policies related to the products and services offered by B2B Bank Report daily activities on the B2B Bank CRM system Related administrative duties as required Execute general tasks at the request of his/her superiors or that may be required by his/her function


Qualifications :

Post-secondary school education or equivalent experience 4 - 6 years of Sales experience preferably in the Financial Service industry (i.e. Mutual Funds, Banking or Insurance). Strong familiarity with sales Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and software. Knowledge of Mutual Funds, Investment & RSP Loans, Lines of credit, Deposit products and insurance, specifically segregated funds. Polished presentation skills. Customer-focused, adept at building client relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Energetic and outgoing. Self-starter who can work with remote supervision. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Bilingual (French/English) verbal and written communication skills are assets.
