- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years of acquisition marketing experience in a fast-moving consumer-facing business
- 5+ years of experience using analytical tools
- Strong understanding of online marketing ecosystem, marketing channels (e.g. direct, social media, display, affiliate, e-mail, newsletter, SEM, SEO), customer segmentation and database marketing methods
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills including the ability to use customer research, hard data and metrics to assess marketing programs
- Familiarity with SQL

Amazon is seeking a talented, creative, and dynamic performance marketer to support Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Restaurants - Amazon's rapidly-growing local delivery services. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting and groundbreaking new initiative at Amazon in its early stages. The Sr Marketing Manager will play a critical role to support the rapid growth of this initiative by overseeing our paid marketing strategy. Applicants must have demonstrated expertise in marketing analytics and acquisition marketing, including search marketing (SEM, SEO), display, affiliates, and social media marketing.
This marketing leader will conceive and propose new marketing strategies and concepts, and guide those projects to successful test and completion. The right person for this role will have experience with online and offline marketing, making data-driven decisions, and influencing others. They should have a solid understanding of customer dynamics and segmentation in the digital media, ecommerce, advertising, mobile and tech industries. They must be able to work at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (managing campaigns with advertising tools, analyzing traffic data and solving problems). Flexibility, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will also be key. Our team culture is goal-oriented, collaborative and driven to achieve results. Key responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, build, and execute multi-channel marketing plans, including creative development, targeting segmentation, and campaign performance analysis
- Leverage in depth knowledge of marketing attribution models and A/B experimentation to manage funnel performance, drive channel and campaign optimization and identify key drivers of trends in the customer funnel
- Deeply understand and articulate the target customer; obsessively understand new and competitive products, trends, and opportunities
- Create and present high-quality documents and presentations to senior leadership both inside and outside the company
- Determine the appropriate methods and systems of metrics for measuring and monitoring marketing effectiveness, including brand awareness, brand equity, and sales results
