POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Middle Market Sales team to oversee an established book of medical, dental and group insurance business in the Northern CA Market. The focus of this book is on customers ranging in size from 300 employees to 5,000 employees.
Fundamental Components:
This person must be capable of building successful relationships with customers, internal team members and producers. This person should be able to analyze and present renewal and financial data, lead employer meetings, conduct formal employee benefit presentations, work with Member and Employer Services to meet customer needs and cross-sell other Aetna products when possible. It is expected that this person will keep current with developments within the industry in order to advise producers and customers.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The ability to develop and implement business strategy is a must. Strong customer service focus, work ethic and attention to detail are critical to success in this position. The ability to handle a variety of assignments and adjust to new situations and changing priorities is crucial.
EDUCATION:
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Insurance/Health, Life and Variable Annuities required
