Systems Engineer At Aerotek

Job Description:

Our client is currently looking for a Systems Engineer to join their team.

This candidate will be working on a system that provides a compact, electronic guidance system designed to help surgeons align and validate bony resections in real-time within the surgical field.

The role entails the following:

• Take the requirement from the client or project manager
• Coordinate the R&D designs of new projects
• Do the risk analysis to ensure feasibility and ROI on product.
• Put the product requirement into system requirement and specification (If not done already done by the client)
• Discuss with the team and elaborate a strategy of development.
• Follow up during the project to ensure the product meets all system requirement.

During the project, the System Engineer will have to ensure the cost is respected (BOM, deviation from the projects, Extra work not part of the original SOW).

The system engineer will become the technical expert of a product and give technical presentation to customer as well as recommendations.

He/She participates in all design reviews and develops standard that will be re-used for different systems.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of system level design
• 3+ years of Risk analysis
• 3+ years of specification design
• 3+ years of requirements design
• 3+ years of testing with heavy documentation
• English

Asset:

• Standard: IEC 62304 or DO-178B or CMMI
• Open-GL, Open-CV or QT
• Experience with GUI
