Job Summary

Field and Channel Marketing Manager
Acting in a pivotal role within a talented marketing team, the candidate will perform as a key internal / external liaison in the Central/East U.S. region and be responsible for the planning and execution of the field and channel marketing plan that will generate sales leads and pipeline mutually for Aerohive and our partners. The Field and Channel Marketing Manager is a strategic marketing position that is responsible for working closely with sales management team members to develop marketing plans and local programs, as well as leading a proactive approach to marketing planning and tactical execution on all activities. These activities includes the coordinatization of joint field events with partners, partner enablement and training, direct events in region, product launches, tradeshows, lunch & learns, and email marketing.

Location:
This position can be based in Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Detroit, or another major city in the Central/East region of the United States, close to a large airport hub.

Responsibilities

What you will do...
  • Develop regional marketing strategies and initiatives to increase more “at bats” for our sales team and channel partners.
  • Cultivate deep understanding of partner community and build strategic channel marketing plans to champion Aerohive cloud-management networking solutions and drive revenue and growth for our VARs.
  • Stategically leverage global campaigns, programs and product messaging and to fit regional territory needs and build pipeline.
  • Develop marketing plans with sales teams and channel partners on a quarterly basis and conduct QBRs to measure results.
  • Identify relevant industry events and secure appropriate level of participation.
  • Coordinate and manage all regional activites, including tradeshows, networking events, partner meetings, and user group meetings.
  • Support overall marketing team goals and programs, ensuring success in your region
  • Utlize SFDC to measure program ROI for all activities and analyze the sales funnel to identify areas for continual improvement.

Qualifications

Who you are...
  • 5+ years of experience in Business to Business technology, ideally for an enterprise software company
  • Strong team player with initiative, a positive attitude, and proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Channel marketing experience: Can evidence experience of working VARs, managing and coordinating cooperative marketing initiatives, representing multiple stakeholders, and expectations/interests
  • Proven creative ability and resourcefulness in generating new ideas and solving problems – must have a “get it done” mentality
  • Excellent oral and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional program and project management skills
  • Salesforce and marketing automation platform experience
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
