We are a small creative firm looking to scale—to raise the company's gross sales over the $1.5 million dollar mark over the next 18 months. We invite an ambitious, highly motivated sales representative to help pursue new business leads and open new doors.
Aegis is a branding and design consultancy. Aegis is positioned to help brands expand markets and create communication programs, campaigns and strategies that establish and reinforce trust with customers.
About the Position
- You are a people-oriented person, having experience selling business services within the marketing communications field.
- You'll work as a trusted and integral team member working with the company principals, responsible for researching new business opportunities and finding new clients, leveraging the company reputation and your own industry contacts to best effect.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prospecting for new business
- Maintaining and building relationships with key contacts in existing and new accounts
- Tender writing and submissions
- Grant writing and submissions
- Maintaining an accurate and ongoing sales pipeline
- Strategic brainstorming and implementation of new business development initiatives
You will need to have:
- A friendly, outgoing and upbeat personality
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to develop and implement B2B/B2C sales strategies
- Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills
- Background in negotiating, tendering and estimating.
Compensation is commission-based only—25% commission on new revenue (gross). Aegis covers expenses.
