AECOM is actively seeking a Marketing Specialist to add to its Northeast region transportation business line marketing team. The candidate will need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where clear and precise communication is critical to the continued growth of the business.
Core responsibilities for this role include content development, marketing strategy, messaging, and visual storytelling in support of winning new business. These include participating in pre-positioning and go / no-go decision-making activities, as well as preparing proposals, presentations and printed qualification materials in response to formal and informal client solicitations.
The Marketing Specialist will also be required to implement company-wide marketing and branding policies, objectives, and initiatives. These tasks will include coordinating with Regional Business Line Leaders, Area Managers, Business Unit Leaders, and senior technical staff to develop messaging, strategy, and content for brochures, campaigns, and formal and informal client meetings.
The Marketing Specialist must exhibit a high level of integrity and professionalism and display excellent communications (both oral and written) and time-management skills. Need to be able to work effectively in rapidly changing environment with multiple deadlines and demonstrate leadership skills and ability to moderate meetings and reviews. Must also be detail-oriented.
Your initiative in suggesting new ideas to improve proposal development will be welcomed and valued.
You will work with a talented and successful team of professional marketers, engineers, planners, environmentalists, and graphic designers who have a broad range of experience and capabilities. There are no direct reports to this position.
Bachelor's degree + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
+ Bachelor's degree or higher in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or related field
+ 5+ years of proposal coordination experience
+ Ability to help develop and effectively incorporate key messages, themes, and solutions
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong working knowledge of InDesign, Microsoft Office, and PowerPoint
